this is one of my favorite photos of my daughter when
she was just a baby. my sister took it for a photography class
in high school.

i wanted to show lsqrd because he takes some wonderful
photos, especially in black and white.

Really cool, Sherry! I love old photos, there's a real "spirit" here... Great story, too. Thanks for the "dedication"!

I hope you don't mind, I couldn't resist playing around a bit...

First I did a little clean-up , dust spots, stuff like that:

Then I recropped, based on rule of thirds:

If you want, I'll delete them...

thank you. very, very nice. i put them in my pictures. i liked the uncropped one better, but that might be because i am so used to looking at the photo(i have it in a frame in my living room)as it is.
she was learning how to feed herself with a spoon and was in her high chair when she turned as my sister called her name. that's why there is baby food on her face.
the photo is almost 33 years old as she will be 34 in the spring.
thanks again. you did a wonderful job. : )

please don't delete them.

Thanks Sherry. I like the original crop best, but thought the "rule-of-thirds" was worth a look. I can send you the full size of the "cleaned up" file, if you'd like... I shrunk it down quite a bit for posting....

thanks, that would be very kind. : )
