it was an amazing fight last night!
i really didn't have a favorite to root for. i like them both. the kid from youngstown fights in the style i like but the other guy is really fast.
the kid from youngstown won. that's not all that far from here and a lot of people that i know went to college there.

boxing?

well, i started watching it when i was very small, late 50's early 60's with my grandfather. it's one of the few sports i watch. i went thru a period of time as a teenager when i felt it too brutal but i decided that unlike animal fighting, these people made a choice and trained hard and were doing what the had a love and a need to do.
maybe watching makes me feel a connection with my grandfather, not sure. he passed when my daughter was in kindergarten. i saw him every day of my life. we were close. he was a truly special man.
