Dear sherry

I would like to invite you to participate in a unique event and opportunity. On Saturday, September 13, I am holding a town hall to discuss the reauthorization of the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act with Representative George Miller, Chairman of the House Committee on Education and Labor.

Reauthorization of NCLB will be at the top of the Committee on Education and Labor’s agenda next year and the town hall will provide us with an opportunity to get your feedback on it. It is important for us to hear from those who deal with the realities of NCLB on a daily basis in order to learn how it is currently working and what aspects of it need to be reformed. Your comments will help guide our work and I hope you will be able to attend.

Event: NCLB Town Hall with Chairman George Miller
Date: Saturday, September 13
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Where: McKnight Elementary School Cafeteria
500 Cumberland Road
Pittsburgh, PA 15237

Please feel free to share this information with anyone who you think would be interested in participating. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to seeing you on Saturday, September 13.

Sincerely,

Jason Altmire
