Raffle tickets are currently being sold for a Ben Roethlisberger signed jersey (includes Certificate of Authenticity) to benefit the West Deer Dog Shelter. The winning ticket will be taken from the first 3-digit Pennsylvania number drawn at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 14, 2009. Tickets can be purchased at the West Deer Township Municipal building, 109 East Union Road, West Deer.

Just For Kids Childcare’s, school age children went Christmas caroling again this past Christmas season to raise money for the West Deer Dog Shelter.

The kids and adults walked through the Stonecrest plan for several hours singing songs and collecting money. This year’s grand total was $150 with a $15.00 donation from the employees at Dyna Vox Technologies of Pittsburgh.

This annual event gives the children a chance to give back to the community and get into the Christmas spirit. We would like to thank all of the people of Stonecrest that opened their doors to hear our voices and opened their pocketbooks for the dogs at the West Deer Dog Shelter.

there are some doggies there that NEED homes. especially the 2 beagle, beagle mix? dogs. they need loving homes. they will love you back more than you could ever love them!!!!
