my crows have come up with a new one.

the lookout crow(the guy that watches for me to be up and moving in the morning)

found that he can sit on an oak branch outside of my bedroom window and yell at me to wake up!


they got an entire bowl of snack mix this morning. hope they like cheese puffs!

FYI, they also like bacon!

I had to empty the jar from under the sink that I use to collect fat drippings recently. Since our trash is burned for electricity, the city doesn't want glass discarded outside special receptacles. And they also don't want "dirty" glass there.

Solution? Put the opened jar of drippings out by the leaf heap where the crows frolic. One week later retrieve the spotless jar and begin to repeat process.

i love my crows. i've found that most people either love them or hate them. i just wish they weren't so darn smart sometimes.
