god! back from the hospital with my mother.
got there at 7:30 am. left about noon. she had the oral surgery done and they were very nice but there is NO f'ing way she should be here and not there over night!

she's 90 years old and her gums are bleeding and we've got a cold pack on her face and i'm a nervous wreck! called the oral surgeon's office to ask about the bleeding as per instructed. he never called back. called her regular dentist and they said to put ice on it. i've got a quick cold pack on it and she is changing the gauze in her mouth. the gauze is full of saliva and blood and i get clean and take the stained and put it in a bag so i can tell if it's getting worse.

i'm only 57 and i can remember even 25 years ago they kept you and let professional health care, nurses etc. care for you!
