really really pretty out, but damn cold.

i've been scattered and unfocused for a few months now, understandably but still...


anyway, i've been doing a lot here via my computer. working to get the message out about NF and how funding is terribly needed and how common a genetic disease it is, how devastating it can be and how research on this has a very very good chance of defeating all types of cancers to boot!

then there has been my little contribution to the political scene here and nationally. every little voice helps. really, no one should throw their hands up in disgust and give up. no matter your politics, become more informed, check out all sides of an issue with an open mind and participate.

of course, there still is, my poetry. slowly moving on with it. hoping to improve with each poem and with each e-mail that i read from the PK'ers. they are such a wonderfully helpful and talented group.

working on settling my mom's "estate"(gee, what an important sounding word)there really isn't much but boy, there is a lot of legal paperwork. i keep wondering what it would be like for someone's family if the had lots of stuff.

still feel funny tho- not calling her to check up or having her call and leave messages for me. no more going to the senior high rise and saying hello to the people i came to know there. it will be a month. time moves on. been a bad year. especially for my sister and niece and nephew.

just gotta keep on keep'n on.
