only 33 rigs would be affected by the moratorium. That's out of 3600 oil platforms operating in the gulf of Mexico. And these 33 platforms are NOT producing oil, they're only drilling. So that's less than 1% of all gulf platforms that would be stopped. Gov. Jindal says we need the oil that's coming from the gulf, the moratorium is not affecting any oil PRODUCING platforms.
