stopped for dinner at the little bar/restaurant down the hill from my house.

there was a table of 4 people close by that were all born again christian. how do i KNOW this? because the were loud, VERY LOUD in their conversation about why this country has brought the wrath of god down on itself by not better defending israel against those dirty palestinian heathens.short version of a very long conversation sprinkled with chapter and verse as they tried to out "holy" each other!

i sat there with my chicken wings and fries and my mind wandered to wondering what it might have been like in that little dining room if those for had been hindu or muslim or geezzz, real in the flesh heathens! those 4 would have been the first to complain if not worse but yet, they took it as their right(god given, i'm sure)to yak away not knowing or caring if there were others there that might not espouse their views or maybe, just MAYBE, were trying to enjoy a meal and a quiet conversation of their own on a friday evening after a crappy week!
