me- i think it's a good idea to drug test our elected officials. we require drug tests for bus drivers and train engineers and pilots- we should be secure in the knowledge that the people who run our country aren't on drugs. think about it. do you want some coked up gov official in the state or in d.c. making policies? not only would they be impaired mentally and emotionally- they would be beholden to their dealers.

frankly- i worry far more about them being drug users than people on welfare.
