i made it to another birthday, still surprises me.
i was so very sure i'd never make it to 20,
let alone the age i am today.
my beloved grandfather would smile at me and say
(with much love and a bit of pride i think) that i
was like those little italian donkeys that were common
in his little hometown in italy. said i was too stubborn
to give up.
yeah, thankfully, he was right. s
