sunday afternoon. i have chicken wings marinating in the fridge, honey, garlic
soy sauce, olive and sesame oils, ketchup, salt and pepper. small red potatoes
are boiling on the stove for potato salad and a load of laundry is in the dryer.

my granddaughter was here earlier while my daughter was at work and my son-in-law
went to get some furniture moved.

we sang and marched around the place and read books( i read, she turned the pages )
she had big fun with a container of dry cheerios(i will be finding escaped ones under the furniture for days, i know!) she had mac and cheese for lunch and was getting sleepy(naptime)
when her dad came to pick her up.

took about 20 minutes to clean up. bob actually came out from his hiding place to start to make friends with mai. he wouldn't let her touch him(and she ALMOST bopped him with a pinwheel)
but i think it's a beginning! s
