Joy is easier (even instantly) lost
Sorrow is just harder to let go of
Ce la vie! mon ami
sorrow and the rememberances of past sorrows, the fear of sorrows to come, they creep up and blindside. sorrows are sneaky and are much like pitbulls when they bite, and hang on.
And yet Joy is so flirtatious
Almost before it arrives
it can be gone again
trying to hold onto to Joy
like trying to hold onto water
in the palm of an open hand!
