i watched the special on TLC last night
the one that followed 2 NF1 patients thru
reconstructive surgery.
it was not easy to see, but it was well worth it.
the courage of all involved and the skill
and dedication of the surgeon was awe inspiring.
NF1 and NF2 are terrible genetic diseases and
as reported in the special, NF1 is one of the most
common genetic diseases. you can have it and
never know it and yet pass it on to children
that could suffer terribly or die.

if they repeat the special. take a look if you can.
if you are looking for a charity, take a look into NF research and services. thanks much, sherry
