I love this man. He's a personal hero of mine, much to the astonishment of the construction workers I spend my days with.

And I take every opportunity to express that sentiment.

i think he was a blessing to children and adults alike and i was lucky that he lived here. his widow joanne is a wonderful woman.

they are going to build a monument to him at an old bridge pier here with a wonderful statue by the same artist that did the statue to one of our best mayors who died quite young.

you can probably google the artist drawing of the bridge pier statue thing. it is really impressive and since you understand bridges you might enjoy it.
