we stopped at the veggie stand and got some things.
so, i made a big salad with red and yellow tomatoes,red onion,cubanelle peppers, red sweet peppers, baby zucchini, fresh basil,celery, feta cheese and cider vinegar.

That looks wonderful.. my peppers, red potatoes, and tomatoes are all starting to be bountiful...

i have a few different types of vinegar but cider is the one i use most.

a lot of the little gardens round here were hit by a tomato blight and too much rain so veggies are more expensive at the stands but they are worth it.

For what it's worth, I sometimes post at homecooksonline.com and my friend left some tomato recipes there lately. Plus, there's a salad recipe close to what Sherry did here.
