making a pork stew with new potatoes and baby carrots, onions, garlic and corn- wish i had some barley to put in. i did bring my rosemary bush in-so i snipped a branch off and put fresh rosemary into it-smells great. nothing much new- was a very busy weekend- went to elwoods pub for a cruise on saturday- the owners there are so very nice-i've known them since they bought the place-it used to be zeke's and was a very small bar on little deer creek- now- they have a kitchen and a lot of specialty beers (don't like beer but the names of the different beers just crack me up) sunday, went to a friend's home for the game- i usually stay home but it was a small gathering and i knew everyone. in fact i have known 2 of the couples since high school even tho we didn't hang out together. that's where i took the pictures of allie- the bigger white dog and ozzie the little black cutie. their home is riverfront property and i just love looking at the river even tho i can't swim. then- it was home and laundry and assorted odds and ends. today- rain and so- stew for supper!
