the water authority guys are in my yard with a backhoe digging a huge hole by my maple tree. i'm getting tapped into the new line today. supposed to lose my water service for a "few" hours. 

i just hope my tree isn't harmed. we lost a dozen oaks on the street when the sewer lines went thru a few years ago.
