another day of GAWDAWFUL heat today!  the doors in the house are so swollen that it took two hands and a lot of tugging to get my kitchen door opened.

my little sweetie and her pap are out for the morning- trip to the aviary and then lunch. they haven't decided what to do tomorrow yet. she's here till sunday. angus arrives Friday- max will not be pleased. angus comes in with his pug swagger and takes all of max's toys. but it's good for max to learn to get along with other dogs. he does know how to get along with the cats. layla rules and bob just , well, bob is just, bob!

this heat is getting to me- I think it's the lack of good sleep- but- at least the water is back to normal here!

been putting water out for the critters outside too.
