The name of the Santa Fe High School shooter in custody is Dimitrios Pagourtzis, law enforcement sources told CBS News.

Pagourtzis is reportedly a 17-year-old student at the school. He lives in Santa Fe, Texas.

Authorities have not officially named him as the suspect.

Students told local news outlet CW39 that the Santa Fe High School suspect was wearing a "Born to Kill" t-shirt. The same shirt was posted on Pagourtzis' Facebook page on April 30.

Students also said Pagourtzis was wearing a trench coat and "big boots."

Pagourtzis was also following gun-related accounts on Instagram. The caption on his Instagram said "we all die sometime."

His Facebook and Instagram accounts recently became inaccessible.

Payton Bailey, a 16-year-old sophomore at Santa Fe High, told BuzzFeed News that Pagourtzis frequently wore a trench coat. She said someone had once told her that he "believed in evil."

Another student described him as quiet. "He never talked to anyone," sophomore Avery Garza told BuzzFeed.

Pagourtzis killed at least eight people and wounded several others as he opened fire inside the school on Friday. A law enforcement official told the Houston Chronicle he was armed with an AR-15-style rifle, a pistol, a shotgun and pipe bombs.

"There's multiple fatalities, it can be anywhere between eight to 10, the majority being students," Sheriff Ed Gonzalez of the Harris County Sheriff's Office told reporters.

Police found explosive devices at the high school and in nearby areas.

"Be on the lookout for any suspicious items," Santa Fe Independent School District Police Chief Walter Braun said. "Our thoughts and prayers go out to our students, staff and our community. Please pray for SFISD."
