i have a photograph of you
it smiles at me. just

as i snapped it your eyes met mine


and no one knows the whys
of that smile but me
and you.

why have you been up for so long. it isn't good for your health. i have insomnia so i know. take your time and say hello when you can. please comment on a poem or two of mine when you get the time. don't feel as if you aren't intitled to an opinion because you aren't a poet. i want feedback from everyone. i don't write for poets. i have my work group to help in critiquing and editing. i write for everyone and hope something touches someone. thanks much. you have a wonderful sunday as well.
