That just might be the bastard squirrel who began the war with me. First there were just a couple of cute squirrels hopping from limb to limb, chattering sweetly. Then it became a hostile army, throwing debris and pine cones down on the heads of anyone sitting on the patio. Then they invaded the attic of the house. And now every time I step outside I hear a war cry. And now I want to kill every squirrel I see. But they seem indestructible.

they are brilliant little guys. years ago i saw a documentary on pbs- daylight robbery 1 and 2.
they showed how squirrels can learn quite fast and adapt to most anything.
i feed mine- and any other critter that shows up-except the coyotes-
my squirrels are fat and happy and too lazy to do much except lay around, pick their teeth and burp. ; )
