this is a young turkey that has started to come to my front feeder.
i get turkeys here every summer. i can't wait for the chicks to start trailing after their moms.
i worry about the coyotes tho.
yeah, i know, food chain and all that, but still...

Oh, CR and I used to live where there are lots of coyotes. I love to hear them at night but they did kill the girls' pet bunnies. :-(
Cool about the turkeys,though!
i never thought i'd see coyotes in pittsburgh, but i guess you never know.
i listen for the owls. if i'm lucky enough sometimes they will stay and call to another and be answered..
