the owls are hosting a toy drive by the west deer police.
so, if you want, stop by, 1 to 5 and bring a new, unwrapped toy
for the police to collect and distribute this coming Christmas.

it's a small ex- coal mining town, but they have BIG spirit.

and barb from the west deer animal shelter is supposed to be there
she usually has a sweet stray or 2 with her. she and her helpers and
gary bogan, the animal control person do an amazing job rescuing strays
with limited funds but dedicated volunteers. maybe you might find the perfect
four footed friend if you stop by or visit the west deer animal shelter.
so many of these sweet dogs have been just abandoned in the township and surrounding area.
