BUT others in my family adore it so they get squid cooked in tomato sauce and baccala with chopped tomatoes and onions and capers and fried smelts. the rest of the family has meat and/or cheese raviolis and tomato sauce cooked with big fat pork spareribs and meatballs, salad, italian bread and fried bread and more cookies than you will see in one place outside of a bakery!
we are 12 tonight. that's small for us. years ago when my grandparents were alive it wasn't unusual to have 30 people or more as my grandparents had us invite anyone of our friends that didn't have anywhere to go.

I love squid. In Portugal, when you order it in restaurants, you can get with or without ink. I don't like the ink. ;-)
