rain again in the middle of the night.
they say we are still down about 4 inches for the
time of year tho.

i was running around closing the windows at 3 a.m.
made it very humid but better than a soaked house.
barely!


at least i didn't bang myself up this time.
i have a nasty, nasty bruise on my knee from
whacking it hard on the corner of the night stand as i
climbed up on the bed to crank the window closed.

you might think that after all these years i'd be more
careful knowing how clumsy i can be.
