"One should hate very little, because it's extremely fatiguing.
One should despise much, forgive often, and never forget.
Pardon does not bring with it forgetfulness; at least not for me. "

Despise the 'things' people do, not the people.

For if you despise people, it is like hating people - all consuming, and soul destroying

Keep on glowing! Shine bright like the light that doesn't burn out.

Yep, I noticed the poem was not yours, but since it was in your 'eclectic' collection ...

I thought maybe it reflected your own thoughts.

most quotes i put here i either agree with or compliment a poem i've posted. i agree with every quote so far, tho i might have changed a word or two.

i have met many many people in my journey. all different types. i've learned from all of them. luckily i've only met a handful that i've despised. they were the casually cruel or the deliberately so. i've met 1 or 2, that i knew to be soulless. i did not despise them, i feared them and pitied them and hated them. i did learn from even them. i learned a great deal. as long as i live, i hope to keep learning.
